A New Players' Group

I think this maybe benificial to the community. I searched and found none but a deserted one. Therefore I created one:

Forgive me if there has already been one.

Fellow new players:
The essential of this game is co-operation and teamwork. So don't be scared to play online and miss the fun!
If you are absolutely new to shooting games, stay in easy setting to actually enjoy the game and to avoid harm of friendly fires. If you are an experience FPS player, try normal setting if you'd like to. You'll realize, or have realized, your old FPS playing style may not working in this game. Avoid versus game at first in general.
Finally, in my experience the really good players are mostly nice and willing to help and most of the name-calling players are just mediocre at best. Ignore them, don't encourge trolling by responding, and find another game. There are plenty nice players around.

Experienced players:
New players actually will help the community thrive in the long run and reactive the fun in old campaigns. I bet it is more challenging to guide a new player team to get the end than to play expert with experts. You'll have to take better care of yourself when you know they'll active the car alarm or stare at the witch, while at the mean time they are still counting on your help.
We'll appreciate that you can play with new players a few times before you are about to get mad.

Sorry to revive an old post. If you are new players brought by the summer sale or whatever, we can orgainize some playthrough or versus practice.
Give me some response if you like to join. I've been through one man events in the past sadly.

Well, you have to scroll a few pages to see it. There are tons of new threads and comment replies pushing this thread down.

Maybe if you can get the moderators to sticky this thread.

Of course mic is easier. But I used to only type and has played games with people without mic, it still works. And sometimes talks can stop you from hearing special zombies.
When you're being tongued by a smoker, you'll have a moment to type.
