Death Toll Zombies Everywhere
Has anyone else noticed that in the allyway nearing the safe room for one of the chapter an insane amount of Zombies spawn and I've been on a team on easy mode with everyone full health and stocked up on ammo only to be swarmed and nearly wiped out by endless hoardes they brought the team I was with down to Me and one other in the red and the other 2 dead it was rediculous. I'm not making a complaint it was really fun and intense fighting through so many Zombies. I was just wondering if any one had experienced the same thing.

Yes thats just how that event is and has been for years. Its not like the L4D1 alley event where you can camp the horde out til it ends. The Alley horde in the L4D2 version of Death Toll is endless. No matter how long you camp or where, it will continue until you make it to the safe room or die.

There are a few endless horde events like that. Chainsaws, bile bombs, and to a lesser extent pipe bombs are all highly useful for those events.

I don't like those gauntlet crescendoes. It's one of the reasons I like the Left 4 Dead original campaigns better.

Every ported L4D campaign has at least one of these gauntlet events, save for No Mercy. Each one of them comes right before a safe house, and each of those campaigns has a guaranteed gauntlet right before the safehouse for the finale. There is no way to tell these are gauntlet runs because they weren't originally gauntlets, and thus there is no dialogue about it.

Those gauntlets are often rather brutal, as the Infected are allowed to spawn in the safe room and quite often spawn directly in front of the safe house. Endlessly, even if you're staring at the spot they spawn in.

The only annoying things about this event is the safe house.. have someone run and stand inside it or enjoy zombies somehow appearing from it non-stopping and flood your team.

It's a survival horror game. It gets intense. It's designed to nail you.

Quit crying and play the game.

Hey d-u-m-b-a-s-s, reading comprehension not your thing huh? OP says he's not complaining and CLEARLY wrote "it was really fun and intense fighting through so many Zombies".
