Why the people I've blocked can join my game?
Steam allows me to block users.... for what????????????????????'

Because some are idiots or I have blocked people with whom I really don't want to play, and now they can join my lobby or even my game...

yea... i was just wondering that myself. Had a game with a notorious griefer that i have BLOCKED, as do my friends, but he was able to get into our game anyway and eff it up.

So whats the point in having a blocklist if it wont block?

Luckly I never had to block anyone, but I think word blocked should mean blocked.

yeh several of my friends have this issue also, seems valve have changed something or ppl are exploiting something, maybe a dev can reply or a mod?

When Steam decided to give L4D2 for free, they disabled/dropped/whatever your 'Block All Communications' list. Happy work around - download Left4Dead Dedicated Server and start the process all over again. L4D2 Dedicated Server gives you more options.

so then.. Steam not only forces you to play with noobs, trolls, griefers **who never paid the game** (btw), but also prohibits you to block them........? What great cordiality with REAL customers!

What is the usefulness of the block button??
