Addons Not Downloading

Looking to get back into L4D2 but my addons simply aren't installing via the workshop. I've only got a single mod to install a Garrus (Mass Effect 3) character mod. Really hoping to get this resolved.

Anyone have a fix?

If your mods aren't installing via Workshop, it might be wise to take the time and learn how to manually install. Most mods are available on reliable third-party sites, and outside of mods with special installation requirements, I have yet to have a manually installed mod fail to mount.

I definitely understand the value of installing manually (a la Skyrim). However, I was hoping that the Workshop would be a viable option since it is a Valve game and all that.

Oh, mods for L4D2 aren't anywhere near along the same lines as mods for Skyrim. If you have multiple conflicting mods, your game will stlil function just fine. With L4D2, you just drop any and all vpk files into your addons folder and that's it, they are installed with no extra effort. It's quite easy.
