Voice command spammers

Why do people find it funny to spam voice commands like "No" "Laugh" "Argh"?

I personally find it irritating.

OP, if you want a tip ill tell you my way to deal with those vocalizer spammers:

1st, ask'em politely if they can stop because its annoying/irritating.
2nd, if that doesnt work, start a votekick.
3rd, if they dont get kicked you can deal with it, leave or get a shotgun and aim to their mouth.

I usually use the shotgun solution when hosting the game. But about why ppl find it funny... I dunno, cant understand it, maybe im a boring guy without humor sense XD

Dont forget you can block'em from steam, i dunno if its 100% true, but as far as i know you cant join to games with blocked ppl and same for'em. At least i didnt found any TK'er/troll/noob ive block anymore.

Yea vocal spammers can be funny at first but then it just gets annoying and becomes unnecessary noise when trying to stay alert.

Wasn't there also a workshop mod that disables voices or something? I remeber someone bringing it up on previous thread.

Friendly fire is never acceptable under any circumstances outside of self-defense or screwing around with friends. If you shoot someone just because they're spamming voice commands, you are far, far, far worse than they are.

Ask them nicely to stop and they most likely will. If they don't, vote to kick. If the rest of the team won't kick them, leave. If they are going to be kicked and they attempt to grief you, feel free to shoot them. Alternatively, you can use the mod linked by Wufei, but survivors voice commands can be useful.

Blocking communication with someone via their profile will prevent accidental matchmaking, but they can still join you via the server browser or your profile's "join game" button.

The shotgun thing was just a joke, I never intentionally do friendly fire.

And I always ask them to stop spamming.

Didnt know that, ty for the info. But about FF, never acceptable? Ok, i agree with that, but sometimes, when i start a map since the begin and random ppl join the last thing what i think its leave for a troll-vocalizer spammer. 90% of times they get votekicked after ask to stop... But not allways.

At least in my nearly 800 hours i only used the shotgun-to-mouth 2 times, and nobody kicked me after, even more, spammers leaved after that. If someone is annoying but play good enough i can understand those "no" votes, but for the same reason nobody kick someone who is good too after ask to stop spamming, even if that guy kill the damn spammer.

I dont want to completely mute the survivors, I still want to hear the dialogue and the special calls etc. But if there was a way to mute the voice commands or disable vocalizers, that would be neat.

It can be hilarious.. but I feel your pain when you are trying to listen if there are any SI nearby and louis just nonstop spams "No" "Tank" "Argh!"

I don't spam with the vocalizations for trolling purposes, my radial menu uses the ones that are beneficial. Xyzzy_Swe also happens to use it.

Bcoz u're low and u're constantly butthurting about small things like vocalizer spam and SOMEONE LAUGHS HE LAUGHS AT ME ISN'T HE. 442 h, really? When you get to the mid, you will find it funny. I don't say that it should be spammed all round, it's really stupid (except No, Yes, Taunts or Laugh — they don't distract).
