No Mercy Finale Rooftop Glitch (Annoying)

I've seen this done for quite a bit of time. It's a shame that Valve hasn't bothered fixing this glitch, and the countless of other glitches that are on the game.

The glitch is able to be done on this minigun specifically, but I'd assume it would be able to be done on other miniguns that are in the game. (Dead Air comes into mind)

Hopefully this post and possibly the attention of others spread this to get patched.

Edit: It's quite clear this glitch provides some safe way of accessing the little platform without being pulled down to avoid the incoming death charge. (Even the instant cap is possible from there as well)

It brings back the older times where you were able to punch the minigun to fly. That was patched on the PC, but it wasn't patched on the console for some odd reason.

Semi game breaking? lol

First off anyone that even touches those pipes is a complete moron. Secondly myself and most people I play with are quite proficient at this and 95% of the time its just done to ♥♥♥♥ with the other team. I could count how many truely advantageous uses ive seen on one hand. For avoiding an attack on that roof its just as easy to run straight and jump off. Getting horded and using it to immediately get a pipe bomb? Sorry even one common by the damn thing either makes it so you cant hit it or you rocket slam into a common a foot away.

Time would be much better sepnt on actual game breaking glitches like being able to phase an entire team through the Mercy elevator by fast changing your name, qq alias, the slab of swiss cheese they like to call netcode, hell even make the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lobby voice chat work. Theres so many real problems that need to be worked on and have needed it since near launch.

P.S. You're terrible at it.

Strange. Reports have shown on YouTube that the glitch still works. I wouldn't know though. I don't own a console anymore.

It was patched after the passing update(they included every update from pc for xbox)

speaking about glitches did they ever fix the elevator glich were you can push the generator to block the survivors path to the safe house. Because that was the most funnyist gltch ever in the map

The result of 22.1 seconds to play mindless honestly do not understand why people do not start or is given the task of playing with comments from developers, where they explain clearly that some "glitch's" like the teleport with the minigun(s), from Left 4 Dead will be available on Left 4 Dead 2 maps too.

Why are you so upset? It is a bit game breaking. There's other glitches as well on No Mercy like spots where common won't even bother going for you, and anything that is an AI special infected won't go for you either.

Regardless if I suck at it or not, it's simply a demonstration.

You're not supposed to go to the left or right side. You're abusing how the minigun functions. You're only "supposed" to go all the way back, not go into either direction.

A shame, because L4D communities have insisted on getting this patched for quite some time now.

It actually is abusing the game. You easily evade smokes, and ♥♥♥♥ like that.

There's other glitches too that i could publicze as well. No Mercy the first chapter surviving, while really vulnerable, you do skip 50% of the map. There's spitter glitches on No Mercy too.

This game isn't perfect, but when the competitive scene wants this to be fixed, then it certainly is a red flag for something a bit gamebreaking.
