Boomette.mdl... What the heck is that?

When I open a map in L4D2 I get a Disconnection that says "Disconnected- Check your models/infected/boomette.mdl what do I do to fix this?

Do you have a mod that changes the boomer/boomette?

boomette model, the female boomer. Verify your files, and, if that doesn't work, disable any female boomer mods and verify again.

That model actually appears during the Dark Carnival campaign and is then RNGed with the spawn of the Boomer wither its male or female. L4D1 won't have the model (might be wrong about the Sacrifice) of the boomer be spawned because it didn't exist back in L4D1.

Yea, it's kinda weird.

I experienced this. Mods that may modify the game itself may cause issues. Like the admin system, some texture. Try un-sub all of them may solve the problem.
