How to delete a VPK File? [SOLVED]

Hey guys. Ok, the question might sound really simple to most of you guys, but actually, it's a little more complex. See, I was fooling around in my Left 4 Dead 2 Folder, and I saw the folder addons (through this)

Steam<Steamapps<Common<Left4Dead2<left4dead2<addons

And now, I saw the workshop folder, so I clicked on that

Steam<Steamapps<Common<Left4Dead2<left4dead2<addons<workshop

Now I saw thes VPK files, but I was unsure of what they were, so obviously the curiousity in me wanted to see what it was. I clicked on one and it said I had a mod installed. Now, I checked it in game and the game installed a mod I already had. So, frustratingly, I tried to delete it, but it just reinstalled itself.

QUESTION: Do any of you know how to delete a VPK file that was installed first by the workshop, but then accidentally installed again through clicking through the folder?

Er...have you tried unistalling it through the workshop?

Workshop mods are checked every time you start the game. If you're subscribed to the mod (which you have to be in order to download it), then it will redownload and install the mod if you delete it manually. Unsubscribe from the mod in the workshop and it will delete the files for you.

Well, I uninstalled it through the workshop, but the mod is still in the addons section in my game.

EDIT: Turns out, when I deleted the mod, the mod's VPK file moved from inside the Addons folder, to outside, so I deleted it and it worked! Thank's guys for helping!
