Bad Charger hit detection on surviviors in versus
Does anybody else see their Charger model just sliding past surviviors when they charge but the game went nope your charger missed even though it looks like you should have hit them? I'm not saying it always happens, just sometimes. Moreover, on rare occasions it looks like I miss my charge on my screen but then the survivior suddenly appears to be grabbed by me and my "missed" charge actually registered.

My ping is good i.e. 30-60 and my internet connection is 50Mb up/3mb down and does not have packet loss.

A thing called lerp affects the position of players in the game. Its hard to explain, but its the primary cause of going through other players.

If targets you were charging at had bad ping or lagged, the hitbox could be inaccurate as well.
I know that feel... Today I was going for a karma charge on the bridge on The Parish, but my Charger just slided past the survivor instead of grabbing him, fell into the water and died. Such a nasty bug.

change ur lerp to something lower, it brings the server side hitboxes closer to the models. If you're playing at 100 lerp(default) you have to lead the survivors a little bit to land the charge. Theres a good video on youtube about it..nvm here u go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctHercXfABQ

The latency is lower than the actual lerp (0 ping/100 lerp, because its a bot)
Lerp is how much ahead the hitbox will be, in this case 100ms in front.
If you got 200ping and 100lerp the hitbox will be placed after the model insted of before.
The best lerp is the actual latency, so the hitbox will be placed exactly where the model is, or where is "supposed" to be depending on the conection quality.
