Spawn witches

I would like to spawn witches in single player so I can practice crowning, but it won't let me use the console command to spawn them or even the one to enable cheats.

Enable developer console

In the main menu, type sv_cheats 1

Load the map using appropriate commands

For eg, if you wanna load Dead Center 1, type map c1m1_hotel

When the map loads, type z_spawn witch

You like crowning witches, eh? I'll be sure to startle every witch so that you can't crown them.

Cheats must be enabled in the main menu, before starting a game, and even then you must use the map command to load a game with cheats enabled - starting a local server via any of the lobbies will disable cheats.

You're welcome.

Irrelevant to thread but if you're looking at practice, crowning her by spamming tier 2 auto shotguns at the hip / waist is easy (even for expert). If you haven't, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it very quickly.

Eventually you'd wanna progress to practising witch crown using tier 1s. Thrilling.

I don't want to use cheats to crown, I just want them to practice doing so.

You can type director_stop, so no SI will spawn..
You can put god mode too, so you wont be killed if you fail..

I've done it now. I prefer Buddha so you still get damged but not killed.
