What is there to not understand? Main Menu should have a different background scene every time you load the game, but it only has the Dead Center scene.
Why do you even care how it looks like?Lol. xD

Small variety is nice. Maybe the same reason why people want cosmetics that are available ingame.
Well... I've never had the Dead Center scene. I have hard Rain, Dark Carnival, Parish and Swamp Fever. I do not think I've ever seen Dead Center.
But as others mention ... does it matter? I never look at it at all.

It was out of my will to use a Mac though
I also seemed to have come into the same "problem" when I used to play games on an OS X platform. But as in recent months I bootcamped into a Windows partition and all those menu themes simply apeared as they were suposed to.
Makes sense to me. Why a Mac is stupid enough to be unable to handle it is beyond my understanding, but there we go.
