Well, you could ignore their messages. (Don't read them)
But if people are insulting others, or you, you can call a vote to kick them. People don't like when people insult others so I am sure they are more than willing to vote yes.
but to ignore them do this. Hold tab, click their name and ignore them that way. Or press escape go into multiplayer settings and ignore them that way. (These are just guesses, I never ignored anyone before, but I believe that's how you do it)
You're just gonna have to figure out how to do, use my suggestions and if they don't work...Sorry I can't help you there.
yeah sorry dude it used to work in cs go and tf2 i believe, guess it dosen't work in l4d.
2. There's no even a mouse cursor in the tab menu to click anything.
3. There is nothing that can mute text chat in the multiplayer settings.
Oh, you're talking about versus matches...
I could have sworn I saw an option to mtue a player before, lol. Just can't remember where I saw it, or perhaps I am mistaken. I have taken much time off from the game and jsut recently started playing a little of it here and there.
I would be surprised if there were no way to mute a player! But maybe, there isn't. Now, that would be odd.
I will try to figure out a way to mute a player. And if I can't find a way to, then I will let you know.
