Unidentified Country not allowed to join.

Hello,
I have some probblems playing a custom campaign with my friend.
It never finds an dedicated server so i klick ok in the message that pops up (It aks if we wanna search for a community server) and after that the loading screen appears. The loading finishes in like five secands and i return to the home screen and theres a message that says:
'[Country Filter] unidentified Country not allowed to join this Server'.
If i search for any ther game it works fine but whenever we try to play this custom campaign it doesnt work. (My Friend can join and play although he's from the country as i am)

Just host the campaign for you and your friend via the "Local Server" function.
Your pings might be a little bad but you can play the campaign.

Thanks for the Quick answer, but if we play on a local server my l4D2 crashes after we've reached the first save room and i have to restart.
And my message says 'Unidentified Country', so how do i define my country?

Well what country are you playing from?
Your download region may determine this, if you try changing it around it might fool the game.

I am playing from germany and my friend too(his download region is the same as mine).

You could attempt to change your download region from Germany to a neighbouring country of Germany and see if that does anything. If not, I think you'll have to local host it and deal with the crashes.

Region selection changes what servers you'll land in. The community server op is describing is judging based off their ip address
