If you launch a local game or have an rented server, you could try either of these values here in the console:
survivor_friendly_fire_factor_hard 0
survivor_friendly_fire_factor_expert 0
Or just use Sourcemod, to disable FF.
If you however are just joining games or running lobbies through official or best avaliable dedicated, you have no control at all.
In the end, it's just a matter of time becoming comfortable with the FF. I play on expert all time, and have no issues with FF. With more hours under your belt, you will get there too. Just give it some time.
