Why are Versus/Scavange players so tryhard?

Seriously, if you just make one mistake, everyone turns into a$$clowns and start trying to kick you. Why?

because that mistake cost them a game...? Say sorry at least? I was kicked only 2 times in my life /one time by my friends when i was ******ing about how they suck lol/ so the problem is somewhere in you.. Usually, people dont kick after just ONE MISTAKE.. the truth will be like.. you were sucking for a long time and you did lost of mistakes.. but you see only the clinical one - your death.

Well, sometimes 1 mistake is enough. Like moving too far away and your teammate takes abunch of damage behind you. Or get death charged because you didn't pay attention.

But it is a versus mode, meant to be taken seriously since it does go on your stats, which alot of other versus players seem to care about. (Which I pretty much destroyed playing with friends and killing myself for fun and losing.)

Not being a tryhard, alot of really good players want a really good game, a good game doesn't come when you have 1 guy who is screwing up the team.

If you get kicked, you just find another game. Not like everyone is like that in versus, even for me when I was new to it.

Tryhard
1. A face-saving insult used by someone who is feeling inadequate. Basically accuses anyone who is better than them at anything of putting in effort. Doubles as an excuse for sucking by implying lack of effort on the speaker's part.

2. An insult blatantly misused by 13-year-old kiddies in online gaming who, ironically, try very hard to win themselves and take it too seriously when they lose.

A tryhard is a person usually of little talent who tries hard, especially through imitation, to succeed, usually to gain fame or popularity. Don't be a bint only because someone else doesn't use the term correctly.

While I agree that VS is filled with people that are dead serious about every little mistake, your behavior here makes it hard to not agree with someone kicking you.
