Retrying Connection To Server problem

Hi Guys

I've been having this problem for a while now

Every time i join a public match, i'll play for about 5 secs and then i will loose connection to the server for some stupid reason. Then it will wait 30 secs, then auto disconnect me.

I have a perfectly stable, wired internet connection that can seem to run every other game smoothly except L4D2

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated because i belive i am not alone in this issue.
