app_update 222860 validate ERROR! Failed to install app '222860' (Invalid platform)

Hello guys, last time i wanted to install l4d2 dedicated server on my Ubuntu 22.04 VPS but i got a problem with that error.

Every other game seems be downloadable, even l4d1 but i cannot download files for l4d2.

Any ideas what's going on?

apparently they've changed it so it requires login with an account, not anonymous login, to download.

For somebody who wouldn't know like me:

Instead of using regular app_update 222860 validate, right now there's need to download files via depot so in conclusion:

1) Login to your regular steam account with left 4 dead 2 (use steamcmd, DepotDownloader or regular steam client, just add parameter -console before run steam)
2) Go to https://steamdb.info/app/222860/depots/
3)Use download_depot <app ID> <depot ID> <manifest> so in that case
download_depot 222860 222861 4827977561765481436 (regular l4d2 server files)
download_depot 222860 222863 2405357637318523777 (linux files to run server)

After download merge files together and run srcds_linux or srcds_run
