Can I get a VAC if I use ReShade while playing online?

I know this Reshade thing seems kinda dated on the discussions, but I'm still wondering if I'm gonna get a VAC ban if I use ReShade on L4D2. I know I already have a VAC but that's because some dumb hacker in CS reported me and my friend for no reason (we weren't using cheats obviously), so yeah

Can I use Reshade in L4D2? Since the program injects DLL files to enhance the graphics and all of that, I'm still wondering if I'm gonna get VAC banned, although in L4D2 I mostly play alone with Left 4 Bots or with my friends on my local server (both official campaigns and custom campaigns) so yeah that's why I'm still having this question

Yeah, right now using it and no problems so far, even though I tested and played in singleplayer.

No its that theres a non zero chance that you will get VAC banned
Its a very small chance since this is L4D2 were talking about, but a real one

You won't get banned for making the game brighter and more vibrant. Just don't inject things like autoaim or something lamo.

Have you ever read the VAC forum? There's a lot of cases likes yours about "bans by accident", wich they don't exist. If a VAC ban is applied by mistake, it will be removed after some time. And it's been more than 1000 days since your VAC ban, wich means that you definetly injected something into game's memory and VAC detected it.

Ok guys chill out, it seems like they are taking VAC bans pretty seriously... Besides, I was able to play CS Source and L4D2 online with the VAC ban so yeah it's only CS2/CSGO
