are people getting targeted or something?, i don't play L4d2 versus but i saw a video of someone getting DDosed

Maybe a year ago when l4d2 was vulnerable to this, yes. Sometimes servers would get DDosed. I guess, this problem is gone for now.

Then I think its still possible to get DDosed, if you have a router with lack of protection.

Well, I dont really have real answer to this question. I think some people are getting mad because they're losing or seeing someone better at the game.

There are people who don't understand that DDosing someone or being toxic - bad(Or They just don't care, lol). All You can do is block them so You'll never meet again.

unless the game is peer to peer, it's doubtable you're gonna get DDoS'ed. the server might get taken offline, sure. but your own router? nah.

also, a regular router isn't gonna withstand your average DDoS kiddie, they'll always have enough throughput to take your internet offline. and consumer-grade routers with "protection" don't exist lol.
