Report a translation problem
Looking at the script for Tank Run, it pre-cache’s and referencing specific (all the standard) tank models.
Are you using any tank based mods? If so disable all of them and see if the problem still exists.
It might be when you play online (some other computer is the server) using tank mods isn’t a problem, but when you play single player something goes wrong.
If that doesn't work:
Are you using any other mods? Try turning them off.
Go to L4D2 in your library, select properties, local files, Verify Integrity of Game Files.
That will check to see if any of the files are corrupted and replace them if they are.
