Game isnt reading most workshop addons

"An error occurred while attempting to download a file from the UGC server!" is put in the console for every one

edit:it is actually downloading them into the addons/workshop folder, but it still gives the console error and doesnt list them in game

i just removed my workshop folder here: Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop
is downloading everything now. hope that works for you

i already tried that before posting

The same thing happens to me, I have downloaded the addons but the game doesn't register them. I hope they fix it soon.

The mods prolly don't have addoninfo.txt file so it won't show up in the addon manager.

they do, i have had some of them work before. yesterday even

Add-on vpk file does not appear
Many people are now suffering from this phenomenon

I think it's because the server is changed. I also checked & the server name is different from usual. Probably it's just a temporary problem & will be fixed soon.
