Construction Commons are immune to juice jars/biles
The construction runners that wear sound protection on their heads, ignore the juice jars that are thrown unless it's thrown at another infected.
It's extremely annoying & has caused our games to fail since the juice jar didn't stop all infected (construction commons), they were still attacking while I was reviving a friendly

when hosting a server, switch from "official dedicated" to "local server" and this mod should take effect.
They are immune to pipebombs, not bile jars?

It should be that way but unfortunately sometimes they ignores it. Hence the usermade fix.

Yeah I saw that mod, but I almost always just play on Official Dedicated servers to avoid crashes/bad connection for other players.
I wish they just fixed the issue via update

Shoot, not only do they ignore the bile jar, they also get enraged and start chasing you if they were in an idle state when you threw the bile jar.
They only react to bile if you cover an infected with them I think

I think it's because they were coded to simply ignore all grenades. molotovs don't attract anything so that only leaves pipe bombs. bile jars were a l4d2 addition and they must have forgotten to make an exception for those in the construction workers' code, and it was never addressed with a post-TLS patch either for some reason
