The usage of CHEATS

I opened this discussion to spread my hate against players who use macro to Auto Bunny Hop or X-Ray in public lobbies (especially in Versus and Scavange). In L4D2, when you point out to the hackers that they're using macros, they either say 'I'm not hacking' or they say 'Your team just plays badly,' meanwhile they have 100 hours in L4D2 and 10 VAC bans, and they want to say they can perfect bhop every jump and predict where the specials will spawn even though the soundbites haven’t loaded in yet... Today I have played 3 full versus games on death center and around 50% were using auto bunny hops and one player was using x-ray. If you are reading this while using such things then make normal players a favor and unalive yourself. And to those who see people who use macro please report their steam accounts so they can get banned. Thanks in advance

yes, same experience here. sad thing is: steam gives a ♥♥♥♥ on these cheating rats. and if they do, these low-lifers just create a new account. typical here: level 0 account, being ♥♥♥♥ as infected, hitting EVERYTHING in under one milisecond as survivor :-)
and if I write down here where most of these human trash people come from, I would get banned from forum.

I had an online friend for a bit who would use an auto bhop script and then no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ try to pass it off as being "god" at the game, and the truly sad part is he wasn't even putting up this facade ironically. I would've had more respect for him if he had just admitted it. I tried to suspend my true feelings towards it cause I didn't want to be impolite, but the truth is that after a while his ♥♥♥♥ started actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with me. I thought it was pretentious and disrespectful to the players who spent time through trial and error to become good at bhopping and then for him to bastardize the scene like that annoyed me. Dude was just a really weird guy overall, needless to say I unfriended him. He would do lots of other strange ♥♥♥♥ too, and he even told me he was on the autism spectrum, which makes sense.

Other than that, despite my "its your game so do what you want" mentality that I like to have, if I see a player using any kind of cheat in L4D, it's an automatic frown for me. Its like.. Game's been out for 16 years, there are so many ways to legitimately improve as a player. Using cheats not only puts myself and a lot of other people off, but it also spoils their own experience because if the game isn't challenging and there's no sense of progression then whats even the point.. I just don't know what they get out of it if it isn't trolling. Anyway.. I'm done yapping.

You forgot to report him for cheating xD and for me it is a mytery aswell what the reason is behind using cheats.

Switch to campaign or become passive and ignore cs2 is brand new and has cheats that arent fixed so imagining l4d2 is unlikely. Unless community servers exist and bans
