AI braindead more than ever before
Crazy when a few community members decided to create content for this game that they even dumb downed the survivor bots. Literally would stand there and stare at a zombie hitting them senselessly lmfao.

Are you sure? I've been playing this since the version where "The Passing" & L4D1 maps didn't exist yet, so only the original 5 maps existed. & the bots were still that bad back then. I forget how many times they were late in rescuing me from smoker & jockey, & it's pretty annoying to see them chasing jockey instead of shooting from afar despite the fact that bots had their friendlyfire disabled by default & they often shot through my head pretty often to shake my camera :steamfacepalm:

Same here I've been playing since and before 'The Passing' and additional other DLC's. Even on the Xbox 360 ahahahaha. I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me or I am getting mixed up on a different game but I could have sworn that the bots weren't this dumb.

No worries, they have always been this way. I wouldn't rely on them too much on higher difficulties as there's too many moving parts for them to focus.

Also, i think this is just a placebo effect.
Again; the bots have ALWAYS been this way, I played L4D1/2 on the xbox. my guess here is that the only thing changed is their navmesh improved a bit for their pathfinding to be more seamless.

If you throw a pipebomb before a map transition starts the bots will most likely break at the next map.

This is a bug that Valve even doesn't bother to fix it. But I think some bot mods already fixed it, if I'm not mistaken.
