Keep dreaming buck o
i think the guy checked the nvidia panel and the carpet where the .dll where and watch some tutorials for it, after that crashes it didnt happend anymore might have been some other similar issue with the .dll or a missing file that wasnt install since he also said that he made the integrity check, run correctly afterwars
i mean fair knowing that the tls update literally divided the community in half
Why would anyone want to get rid of a campaign? For lower installation size...? Erm...
... Then... The issue was with improper configurations, not the game itself...
Case closed... (or is it? stay tuned! ta-dum-dum~)
i'd really like to help you but every Nvidia control panel differs one from another (it's gpu and driver version related)...
You'll have to try one option at a time (at least that's how i did it).
i seriously recommend you to reinstall l4d2 the proper way... Don't forget to reset your Steam Cloud! Otherwise it will all come back up.
Could I be enlightened?
Also, your Nvidia Control panel will do a "General setting" for all games. If your game is having specific issues (like l4d2 in this instance), you need to select "Manual configuration" and manually decide what's best for you.
i'd also like everything to be automatically configured, but that's not how computers work lol (well for newer games and computers, there's a standard reference that will probably work... But usually, for a 15 year old game, you need to do it yourself).

GOD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DAMNIT, well makes sense nvidia didnt go big until years later, and this game did have a few problems on its release as far as people told me, since this is tecnically a forgotten game gonna watch that with a tutorial i always hated the control panels of nvidia and th sistem they made me feel like i have to be a proffessional to handle those
