I'm confused about manual install voice mods
I recently downloaded a voice mod for Rochelle that requires a manual install, which meant I had to go into GCFScape and extract the sound files, before then replacing the vanilla files with the modded ones. However, when i did that, Rochelle still has her vanilla voice lines. Did I do something wrong here?

No need for manual installation. Just keep them inside vpk and you are good to go. Justin Case you already replaced with no backup plan, you can verify integrity of game files to restore the original back.
There's "snd_rebuildaudiocache" cvar to apply the final step of replacing voices if I'm not mistaken. You can try it. It usually takes few minutes, so it's better to execute multiple commands at once like:
snd_rebuildaudiocache; quit
This will quit the game the moment the rebuild process is finished. You can launch the game afterwards to see if the voices are completely changed to the custom voices.

I would use "snd_updateaudiocache" instead as that would only update the changed files rather caching all sound files.

Looks like either method works. Unfortunately, it appears the mod doesn't replace campaign-specific voice lines. Will a mute mod help?
