Yama Map Problems

My friend and I want to play this map, but we keep running into problems. Whereas I can play the map fine, he is missing nearly all of his textures in the map. We can't join a lobby that one of us has made, saying that we don't have the map installed, even though we both got it from the same site ( l4dmaps). Anyone know what's going on here? Did he unzip the file wrong or something?

Did he double-click on the .vpk file and waited until a notification opened saying it's installed?

And upon launching the game, did he wait until all the add-ons were installed and updated? (If a red circle is rotating next to the "Add-ons" link, it means they are installing).

And finally, when he clicks on Add-Ons, is the map in the list checked and not conflicting with anything else?

He needs to download Rayman's Missing Content Fix mod http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=26132 . A while ago Valve stripped the game of some assets from the Cold Stream update that several addon maps and campaigns use. This mod restores that content.
