my subscriptions never downloads?
help guys i weirdly need t5o always unsunbscribe and re-subscribe to pretty much all workshop items i subscribed too. i even made a list in my collection and still doesnt work. why?

What do you mean that they never download? When you subscribe to a mod, that's it. Once you get into the game itself, you need to give the game a chance to activate them (indicated by the L4D emblem by the addons button on the main menu). When that icon disappears, then you are free to play the game with your addons.

i know that. i am subscribed to about 100 mods and when i get back into left 4 dead it shows only about half so then i have to unsunbscrube to 50 mods and resub to 50

This has been happening to me as well. I have a little under 100 subscriptions, but when I get in game, even after the L4D symbol is gone, only about half of my add-ons show up. I think it may have something to do with the Steam cloud not recognizing all of the subscriptions. I am looking for a fix and will check back if I find anything out.

I have a similar problem happened about three days ago where half my add ons wont work but i am subbed to em. havent found anything to fix it, rescribed and might reinstall l4d if i have to.
