Are Achievements bugged?

I've been playing L4D2 quite some time and when I just finished another campaign I noticed I got my last achievement in 2012. Normally I don't mind them and I think they're just there for fun and boasting, but I noticed that when I scrolled through the available ones there were a few I'm sure I did but didn't count, like proving you're stronger than Mustachio, or my progress in the STILL SOMETHING TO PROVE one.

Has it always been this buggy way or have achievements been bugged since 2013?

I was able to get achievements throughout the year, so it must be something else.

I have the same issue i can't get this achievement even I do it all right compared to all the tutorials out there to get the Gong Show Achivement.

I've seen and helped people get those achievements, at least pertaining to Stache Whacker/Gong Show after the Christmas miracle. Don't know what's going on there.

Yes they are glitched. Sometimes you need to retry for them, which most aren't a challenge to get so should take 15 minutes max.

Or wait 1 day.

i try to get the surive the parish and ever time i surive it it doesn't give me a trophy and it says i don't have it.

I think achievements don't get updated properly when you finish a campaign. For example, I was trying to do all campaigns on expert but the achievement wouldn't get updated when I finished one (the counter wouldn't go up).

I figured that if you play a round of survival immediately after doing something you're trying to get, it will have a big chance of fixing the achievement for you. This worked for me at least.

Short answer: yes theyre bugged

Some has to be done several times to actually show as completed.

Have a friend that says he even lost some after he got em- as in in they showed on the list and poofed the next day

for the parish achievement I had to survive 4 or 5 times before getting the achievement, in short, yes they seem to be bugged.

its ben 8 year but i got same achivement bug like im doing the 25 pounc hunter in versus but it doesnt give me the achivement or the spitter achivements help hunter or charger i did these like HUNDERED of times but it just doesnt give the achivements do you guys know why ?
