The silencer doesn't attract less zombies--it doesn't actually have that affect.

The only thing the standard SMG has is accuracy over the silenced.

The silenced SMG has more damage and higher rate of fire making it by the better choice if available. Those are the only differences.

Thats hard to notice but thats does. When u shoots, zombie in middle range will not turn to u

No... i mean really. Gunfire doesnt alert infected. You might just assume that a sileneced weapon would attract less attention than a loud weapon but it literally does not have that effect in the game. Infected are not attracted to gunfire--loud or quiet. Look it up for yourself by all means.

Ok. Ill test that

The mac10 is infact more silent than the uzi. Its really easy to test. Try clear a room the size of an avarage saferoom and note the dif. Be carfull not to alert them by other means ie by pointing flashlight directly on any of them and dont enter the room straight away.

Kill the ones lefthandside and the righthandside will not react right away if u use mac10. The Uzi will alert entire room.
The witch is another good tester. Try run the sugarmill n fire your uze next to her. Shell get startled. Then try mac10 and smile of joy as she ignores you

The most loud gun afaik is the AK and will attract the zombies at a range comparable to a bus or more.

No... i mean really. Look it up yoursself. Gun noises do not as a fact attract infected. The l4d2 SMG was given a silencer just as a way to diversify the weapons, but its *only* an asthetic variation in appearance.

You don't have to take my word for it at all. Simply google it.

Google it and read the wiki? sry.. just because someone has written a guide doesnt make the content solid as proof. As said: its really easy to test for yourself.

it is. And its right. Test it for yourself as well. Read it. Shoot an Ak around some infected, then shoot the S-Smg. They don't notice--they dont care. That isn't to say you won't attract them, but not the sound of your gunfire that will do that. No matter what logic your imagination is telling you, the game doesn't work like that. It SHOULD, i would agree with that. But it doesn't.

I never had to look up a wiki for anything about this because it was obvious, just fyi.

Lets put it in the bags with urbanlegends like those saying director spawns more kits the more you heal(adv and below) and the original survivors drops more goodies during Passing finale if u pass em pills or shot. Im sure im right, your sure your right and its all good like that..

youre comparing apples to oranges. What youre saying would be relevant IF we were going on opinions alone. Im not speaking of opinions. It's fact that infected *are not* alerted to the sound of gun shots. I mean im bewildered as to how someone thats been playing as long as you have really hasn't ever noticed this. The proof is in the game itself if you refuse to take my word for it, or the official wiki of the game. Has nothing to do with either of us wanting to be right. This is not a stealth game--there are no stealth elements in it, save for casually walking by a witch before she becomes enraged if that even truly counts.

I just dont see where all this skepticism is coming from.
