Lighting issue, please help [Solved]

For some reason Left 4 Dead has these weird green blue, and yellow lights when I'm looking in bright areas. Here is an image of what I'm talking about:

If anyone can explain why I'm getting this issue, then I would be very grateful, it's driving me mad!

Edit: I solved this by verifying my game cache, and I also had to verify the cache of Left 4 Dead 2 Beta and Left 4 Dead 1 because they were having the same issue as well.

uncheck all of your addons, restart steam and then verify your game cache.
if you have addons, don't load them up but load the map again vanilla.

either that or try adjusting your video settings.

Well, verifying the game cache fixed it, and strangely enough it wasn't the addons because Left 4 Dead 1 was doing it too. I was just missing 69 files for the game for Left 4 Dead 2, and after it acquired all of the files it was back to normal. Now all that's left for me to do is fix Left 4 Dead 1's weird lighting issues.

Yeah, I have no idea why there were so many files missing. I have gotten a new gaming rig, so maybe that had something to do with it?

I ruled it out. Left 4 Dead 1 is having the same lighting issue, but it doesn't have an addon workshop, so it's not likely to be the addons causing this issue. I also tested Left 4 Dead 2 Beta, and it's having the same lighting issue that I solved for Left 4 Dead 2, but it's a different color. Weird.
