Sacrifice - Bridge Not Lowering?

Is anyone else having this issue?
The bridge in Sacrifice, where one player must, obviously, sacrifice themselves, will lower, but the gate will not move.
My friends and I have tried three times in a row and each time the bridge gate would not lower so we could get on. Is this a server issue or just really bad luck?

Yeah, I too guess so. Are all three Tanks defeated and is Skin on Our Teeth playing? That's the cue for "rescue arrived!".

You know you have to push a button once you are in the bridge? If you dont do it you wont be able of sacrificing no one, and the whole remaining survivors must be in the bridge, if not you wont be able of pushing the button of the bridge

I guess something happened between yesterday and today because it worked fine. Huh.
