Addons Not Showing Up

So basically the addons I downloaded from the workshop are showing in the addon list but not showing up in-game. But I've never had this problem before...I've reinstalled LFD2 twice and redownloaded all the addons. Still nothing...

Try verify the integrity of game cache.(keep verify your game cache until it says "All files successfully validated".)

Library > (right click on) L4D2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify the integrity of game cache

Go to library > application support > steam > steam apps > common > L4D2 > L4D2 > addons
In the addons folder you will see a folder called "workshop" this is where all your subscribed addons go when you subscribe to them on the workshop.
You are going to copy everything in the folder and paste all of that to the addons folder.
So basically for the mods to work they need to be in the addons folder not the subfolder workshop inside of addons.

You don't have to delete it.

Just did it and I'm in-game now. The addons are working but now I have 2 copys of every mod

Duplicated copies will not interfere with the game, but you can delete it.

addons are disabled for versus (and other pvp game modes)

there is nothing in the addons list after i put the addons for l4d1 into the addons folder is this a bug or am i doing something wrong i even extracted them hellppppppp pleaseeeee
