Do you really think someone knows it?
It's a recipe to play alone.
This server is a cancer and must be extirpated.
Justify your opinion.
The people don't understand that this modded server rapes the gameplay...
- Appeal to popularity fallacy ---> you would understand if you realized there's girls playing; if you were a certain age...
- Non-sequitor fallacy ---> (Y)A server has a position that offends group A. (Z) We should give out sensitive information about the server owners and ban anything that refers to offensive material.
- Strawman fallacy ----> A computer game, which is focused upon digital infected versus survivors, and is named "Hentai Rape" is NOWHERE REMOTELY near the same thing as the forced, real systemic eradication of an entire race, ie. Holocaust. This is also a bandwagon fallacy (rape is bad, therefore all things which are bad are equally comparable])and supposes that both hate speech and the Holocaust carry equal social and legal ramifications with the activity of rape, even if it doesn't actually ever happen and the name refers to a virtual world. It's a broad classifying of "evil" and, as such, is a relative claim. It doesn't stand up underneath any scrutiny.
You're not really making a case for anything but how online materials and subjects which trigger you should be shut down. You also claim that personal information should be yours so you can even further harass the person you feel is triggering you. It's illogical, really. The only solid argumentation that you have is that it truly offends you digitized characters are destroyed by tons of tongues and tearing of the clothes. And the public and private answer to that? Nobody cares. It's a rated M game and is not for kiddies anyways. If you're too mentally a child, then stay away. Why should the world be made specifically towards your happiness?
>That server makes no apology to the rapе but it's comprehensible to ban the server because the name is offensive to the victims of rapе.
"We should ban you if you name your server anything offensive to me. Even if it's satire."
What you say next is really alarming:
>Funny is make them publicly exposed to make them suffer pressure to shutdown the server
"We should publicly expose server owners that have distasteful approaches to video games."
Well, aren't you just so special and overtly self-centered?
It's a good thing that you can't do anything legal about the name, except for make meaningless threads that angrily whine about server owners and the freedom of speech, and which apologises for the extreme repression of mentioning ideas that you dislike.
The entire game can be modified into sexual innuendo. There's plenty of actions and phrases which support this: the smoker wrapping his tongue, the hunter tearing off your clothes, the tank pounds upon you, the charger tries to smash you into things, etc.
Your petty emotional triggers are not the legal foundation upon which servers are built.
**lastly, you CAN play as survivors in the HR servers. I think the code is !god or something like that. There's an automated message that pops up in chat that tells you how to do so.***
We are not talking about something hermetically isolated from social and psycological reality. We are talking about social relationship between players, ethics and politics. Don't see any popularity fallacy here due the fact that social approvation matters in this topic.
A falacy is when you try to proof that something is true using an invalid argument. Expose server owners don't aims to prof nothing. It is just aims to force them to shutdown or change the crap server due fear of public pressure. I entered in versus mode to play versus mode. But they put me in a undesired coop mode againt my will. They made me a damage. I don't started this ♥♥♥♥ but I will try to put an end.
And you talk about fallacies... A computer game, which is focused upon digital infected versus survivors, and is named "Jewish Holocaust" is nowhere REMOTELY near the same thing as the rapе. You see that? Don't make sense? Because you said something that don't make sense.
It is offensive and unnecessarily disrespectful anyway. Rapе is bad. Holocaust is bad. Both are shameful crimes. Both cause pain to the victms and relatives. The rapе term in this context is offensive and disrespectful. The jewish holocaust in this context is also offensive and disrespectfull.
I must have said several things you don't like or don't agree, but I was careful to to not do anything personally offensive and unfair against you. Don't se any reason to ban me.
Not really alarming because it's not unfair. Just good vengeance. This kind of people are similar to spammers, spreading undesired low quality content. If the Steam support does notting someone must do. This people must be exposed so that the people protest agains their acts and make pressure.
Nope. Just your prejudice and misconception againts me.
It's a bad thing for the game community. This kind of crap server is being allowed to degrade the game quality.
And?
The game is based on quality. The lost of this quality will kill the game. It just one step toward the end.
The exposure of server owners that rustle your jimmies is a retributive mentality that presupposes the superiority of your feelings over others. Your emotional integrity is above the server owners. There's no high road taken in this pseudo-righteous thread; there's just petty whining that your perspective isn't everyone's focus.
Except, what I said makes complete sense.
An online game having a community name, "Jewish Holocaust", and yet features nothing related to Jewish eradication, is nowhere psychologically or socially equatable to physical rape.
It's an Apples to Oranges comparison. HR servers has some suggestive dialogue but this game is rated M. The game is clearly defined for adults and will deal with adult situations.
Bandwagon fallacy : A virtual game, with some suggestive, verbal context, is equal to the Jewish Holocaust because it's linguistically offensive.
Server owners have freedom of speech, just like you do. If a server owner is distasteful, exiting a game and blocking the server is really, really, really easy.
I swear to Satan, some gamers feel so entitled to the way a game should be played.
>good vengence; server owners are spammers
I can feel the logic of this thinking just bursting forth and covering me in enlightenment... No, wait, I don't get you at all. This crap's all over the place with its consistency.
Because you're incapable of learning how to block servers, those whose servers you enter must experience your personal feelings of anger?
You sound like an angry, miserable person that wants the world to recognize your emotions and not dirty on any of them.
There's no vengence here; there's just a definite case of psychopathy that the community should avoid. Maybe, instead of blocking the servers, it's people like you, people who demand personal and identifying information be given because you're upset, that "bring down the community".
"Crap" is a nomenclature for "subjects that are triggering". Triggers are cultural and psychosocial shifts that happen to bring out a certain emotional response for you. Your qualification of the community is clearly reliant upon your very personal emotional and aesthetic preferences.
That being all pointed out, the HR servers provide competitive relief and comical game-play. The communitarian positives outweigh the temporal inconveince of you having to press ESCAPE and then EXIT GAME.
As pointed, the community > your tiny world
And so correlations to sexual relationships are conceptually supported, albeit satirically.
I see tons of quality with the HR server. Not only is it a healthy ground for newbies to practice their skills, but it's a great place to have fun by tearing the faces off of the survivors. It's excellent for infected play and, by just typing !god, it's a solid place to practice surviving against a lot of speicals. If there's a criticism which I have, it's the lag that periodically arises with lots of spawned entities.
For the record, everyone's conception of quality is not dependent upon your emotional universe.
"Ban it because I don't like it!"
"People who disagree with me should be disfigured!"
I think you lot got lost on your way to Tumblr.
Also, the popular DLR servers stand for "Dead Land Rape". It was probably an inspiration for the name Hentai Rape. While I think anyone will agree that it is tasteless, I think its a bit of a stretch to be so offended at the use of a word in an M-rated video game. There are far more important things in life to care/rage about.
And yes, ultimately, the greatest sadness is that there is some one behind all these servers paying the bills, and if you've ever looked up prices for running/renting servers, you'll know that its quite a lot of money.
Seriously?
If only it could be that simple, but alas, it doesn't have a blacklist feature.
Agreed, I do not like the server because of its mods, its name, nor do I like it glitching out video ads that repeat over and over, nor do I like the fact that it spams "Steam Group Server List" on the main screen despite not actually joining the steam group.
But a server like that has every right to be there, and such a mod would be ideal for newcomers complaining about not being able to practice infected. Asking to be banned would be ideal, but that glitches out "view player in current game".
A block feature would be ideal like you would a player, but we have to stick to openserverbrowser.
