FPS is capped at 300

So basically, my FPS doesn't go past 300. It just stays at 300. I know i shouldn't be complaining, but i wanna get the most out of my 3090

There's a 360hz one but I don't think there's a higher one in the market atm.

L4D2, unlike other Source games, is capped at 300fps and the fps_max command doesn't work anymore.

You want to get most out of your 3090 by playing a 2009 game with relatively low system requirements by today's standards, if you really want to make full use of your 3090 with this game I suggest downloading mods that improve the graphics significantly.

Higher FPS gives you less input delay on mouse movement making aiming feel much "smoother" (in reality it's just more responsive). The monitor refresh rate doesn't matter, it's simply about delivering a more "rellevant" frame faster.

Personally I don't feel much improvement past 150 fps, but pro shooter players do tend to go even higher.

I could most likely beat any campaign on realism-expert with 30 fps and 120 ping, but I'd still rather do that with 150 fps and 30 ping if I actually want to have any fun.
