Multicore Rendering

Although I'm sure it'd hardly do much to improve my incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lag situation of late, I've been trying to Disable Multicore Rendering in Advanced Options.

However, for some reason, every time I click "Done", the next time I go back into Options, I find that, somehow, Multicore Rendering has been somehow automatically reenabled. How do I stop this from happening?


Also, side note, any other tips for reducing lag? I'll do anything except run the game in a window. Fullscreen or bust.
