play with that. if your desperate you can do mat_fullbright 1 in the console, let you play a few games while you get it worked out.
all other games are fine and my laptop is plugged in most of the time and on high performance with full brightness, so I know it's not that.
while mat_fullbright does work out for singleplayer, I play co-op with friends and I will need to host through LAN which somehow doesn't work for us. plus mat_fullbright removes the intended atmosphere of a map in terms of lighting.

How do I get to my game library. It feels weird posting now when the last one was in september but I just got the issue myself.
Which would be where I just open the game cause I created a shortcut on the desktop
I found the library and fixed it but is there a way I can permanently fix it without resetting options every time I play the game
