Well, as for annoying bugs that are unfixed until now, for me I think it's the locked cvar bug when joining some modded servers by accident. Sometimes their cvars stay, like spitter becomes too cheap that she keeps spitting nonstop. Boomer becomes more disgusting by vomitting nonstop, smoker with very very long tongue, etc. & I think mutation goes like this too, but it can be reset by playing Singleplayer & then exiting to main menu.

which is good for checking everything (and no the mutation isnt essential i think it just prevents random hordes)
so unless its texture related which then youd have to load the map regardless then this has everything covered
theres other maps out there like it too
reading the description makes it appear as its intended for acheivment hunting however i just used it as a testing map
why? why must the player be punished because the bot picked an idiotic position behind them? the amount of times I could've saved a teammate from taking damage only to be thwarted because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ camera flinch mechanic.
"just crouch to avoid it!!!" no, how about I down the bot with a shotgun so it stops being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuisance?
I hope whoever implemented this feature is forever cursed with an imprecise mouse pointer. it's no joke, man.
But again, just why doesn't Valve fix it themselves? If a modder can fix it, Valve should be able to do it too
Just make commons that can't keep pathing instantly die, it'd be funny to watch them run into a table and die rather then watch them run into a table, crouch and get stuck and then bite your shins.
Or how you can't cancel out of the game creating a new lobby if you tried to join a match that then became unavailable, I just hate waiting around for those couple of seconds.
CSS weapons breaking if their scripts are edited at all. If you make any change the weapon will turn inside out.
Melee weapons being hard to really do anything with. They all have to be statistically identical in terms of damage. You can't use swing patterns from different weapons or else it breaks.
Most cvars having zero documentation as to what they do or how they work
Launcher cvars being a pain in the ass to test
The fact that valve went to all the effort of giving the Witch a flashlight anger mechanic in the trailer and then just never bothered to implement it in game
just in general how hard coded a lot of ♥♥♥♥ is, it works as a game but if you want to change things about it you need to work within very strict confines or make a lot of sacrifices to get it working
Also want to count the former german exclusive weapons still using CSS models when there are updated L4D2 models and animations from CSGO's Alpha/Beta (the MP5 is especially egregious since it using outdated assets is the only real issue the gun has, and the updated version from that Beta has never been used in CSGO either)
