is the knife the best melee

i heard before that the knife used to be the best melee in the game before they changed its hitbox to be bad. but in the tls update they reverted that change, so is it currently the best melee in the game?

also another question is that i heard the tonfa is the best melee in the game besides the knife. is that also true?

in my opinion the tonfa is one of my least favorite melee weapons.. but i do prefer it over some weapons. i think the knife is pretty good .. it is one of my favorites but i don't know if it is the best.

Tonfa is not the best, tonfa has a terrible hitbox, can't cut smoker tongue, low dps(because of terrrible hitbox) Knife is a tonfa with smoker tongue cutting ability. They both suck if danger is High.

Tonfa just attacks quick, doesnt mean it will connect to targets or do high dps. ''Tonfa is the best'' is a misleading information popularized by a youtuber.
