💜 💜 💜 Steam Deck Question: How do you play Split-Screen Mod with another Player over Online?

In my household. Family and I, we wanna play classic Left4Dead Local Play that we had on Console, I found a mod. -But...another wants to play, and I think we have a computer nearby that they could make an account with and play on.

2P Split-Screen (Mod) + Over Online with Another.

Any Ideas? I'd Appreciate It. 👋

NOTE: Steam Deck OLED, Using 'Gian's Splitscreen' Mod.

P.S My Steam Deck Dream is for Valve to make a 4-Player Local Splitscreen Mode for Steam Deck. 😢

Is this over LAN or not? Are you trying to play on dedicated servers or local server? Also do you know how to open and use developer console?

I tried reading into the differences between dedicated and local. And I’m still not sure. Maybe Official?. If it helps, I'd prefer for it to be just us, like a private lobby if that’s a thing.

LAN is Ethernet Play right? Yeah we don’t have that.

I can pull up the console via controller but haven’t really used it.

With LAN i mean everyone connected to same router.

If using same router, then you can just start a game using the splitscreen mod and other PCs in the network should be able to see the game from main menu.
