Can other people see the mods that i downloaded?

So I was just wondering if I downloaded some mods, and i hosted a co-op campaign with 3 other friends, will they automatically download the mods or must they install it manually in order to see it?

I only ever downloaded the Darryl Dixon skin mod and joined a friends game and they all seen it without having to download it.

I am pretty sure they can't see it if it doesn't affect gameplay, but Whiteboy is saying the opposite, so I'm not sure. Probably best to just try it and see what happens.

Player models, gun skins, zombie skins, flashlight skins, posters, and more do not show up for other people who play on your server unless they have also downloaded it as far as I know.

The above is true, but I believe the question is: Are they downloaded automatically, or only manually? I was under the impression that it was the latter, but the first reply would seem to contradict that.

No, luckily they are not bothered by whatever you add to your own game. Thy won't see or hear any of it.

If you take a screenshot from the game and upload it to Steam they can ofc see it and Steam will show a list of the Workshop items that you were using at the time!

As answered above, any mods you download, other players will not see, because imagine everyone having mods and you having mods, who would see what mods? Though, I've joined a server where the tank was a wrestler reskin mod and there were l4d1 zombies instead of l4d2 but they were kinda screwed up. I think it was a modded server because one guy was spawning tanks and witches etc.

In other words, if you have goku skin for ellis and your friends has vegeta skin for ellis. You'll see ellis as goku and he'll see ellis as vegeta. And if they don't have any mods they'll see him as normal ellis
