ODD CAMERA GLITCH DURING CUTSCENES
I keep experiencing a very weird issue in vanilla and custom campaigns where during the intro and ending cutscenes, the camera will get stuck in one spot. Usually in the ground or facing directly away from survivors, even stranger this seems to not happen on L4D1 campaigns.
I have already tried verifying my files, disabling and re-enabling mods, but no dice. If anyone would know of a fix please feel free to share as while it isn't the biggest problem in the world it is irritating and I have had to miss out on some pretty fun custom cutscenes. Thank you.

I've only had visual/rendering issues when my video card overheats(and that was a long time ago)

But you seem to have found something new. See if Steam Support is even interested in getting your machine's details and configs/settings like they probably should, but they might just give a non-answer and tell you to talk to your system adminsistrator.
Good luck!

This usually tends to happen when you enter into a cutscene either in thirdperson or thirdpersonshoulder. Do you tend to play thirdperson a lot? If so this will be the case, it's easily fixable by just going back to firstperson again.

I actually don't think I've ever had a third person mod downloaded, how would I be able to reset it back to first person? Thank you again for the help

Not a mod, the command "thirdpersonshoulder" should be the problem. This isn't a sv_cheat bound command like thirdperson. Just simply retyping thirdpersonshoulder should fix it. If this isn't the issue then it's most likely a mod of yours. Since I've seen this error before and to be honest you can get some funny reactions with this.

And I've reread your thread beforehand at the top, the thing makes no sense really, it happens on l4d2 and customs but not l4d1 maps. If you used thirdpersonshoulder the camera gets locked even on l4d1 maps. I might get screenshots later and show the difference between non thirdperson and thirdperson and see if it looks like what your describing. Best I can help. If you want you can always message me as well if you want further help with it. Happy to help with it.
