There are 43 maps. Start with the easy maps like:
- Dead Center - Gun shop
- Death Toll - Church
- Dead air - Terminal
- Parish - Bridge
^These can be done even on your own with bots, or with randoms who simply stick with you.If you're playing with gold miners, don't bore them with the easy maps. Get them to carry/guide you through at not-hard-and-not-boring maps, which are the majority of the maps.
Save the harder ones for last:
Survival mode is definitely different from campaign mode. Plans that worked great in campaign mode might not be great in survival mode.
In Campaign mode, there are only 4 SI at a time. In Survival mode, it begins with 3 SI at a time, but after 4:00+, there can be 7 SI at a time.
There will always be double tanks at around 5:30 and 11:30. After 13:00+, it's nonstop double tanks (with short 'breaks' after every 6 tanks).
Reload on weapon spawns, learn the tank wave times, make sure you choose a holding spot that ensures you only have to watch like one or two directions, and then from there it's just about upping game sense.
Good teammates also necessary for the harder ones.
