Advice for last man on earth

I want to play last man on earth but i suck ass at it. Any tips on how to get better at it?

Practice campaign until you only need to use one health pack and then practice campaign until you don't need to use any for the entire campaign. Learn how to time out pushes and memorize the internal CD between the spaces of crowd control and attack phases. Research how to engage the special infected, play things like Special Delivery to get a taste of how specials operate so you can fight them more on a more intuitive level, such as anticipating pushing a missed pounce after hunters land and knowing when to hop push a leaping jockey or understanding charges and the space that you have to use melee/firepower. It's important to know when you can push boomers and spitters and when you can shoot them. There's nothing wrong with retreating for a better space to control engagement; never feel like you're cheesing or doing bad because you are finding optimal strategies in CC. Finally, incorporate your skills and knowledge into Last Man On Earth.
