animated/gif spray speed
is every gif/animated spray at the same sped or can you make it go faster? i saw that the more frames your spray has the slower it becomes but that doesn't seem to be the case since i made two different sprays one had 63 frames and the other 43, but they seem to go the same speed despite the frame difference

You can define delays between frames. I did that with inkscape back in the days

sorry i don't understand what you're saying, i'm new to this spray stuff. please explain it to me like how you would explain to a kid why the square block doesn't fit in the triangle : D

Sry i misunderstood your text. I used photoscape for gifs with a delay between the frames. I managed to make an animated spray but mine seems to skip frames for some reason.

oh it's fine. the spray i made doesn't skip frames and it's all okay but i'm just kinda sad about the speed of it. it's not slow slow but it is slow. i've seen other people's sprays that were really smooth and fast and i was wondering if i can achieve that with my spray aswell. maybe my spray just has too much frames? the original gif has about 115 frames and i reduced it down to 43 and if i reduce any more than that i think it would start to look bad. the gif is about 385KB if that says anything. also when i look at the gif it's speed is normal but when I spray it on l4d2 it slows down.

Animated sprays are forced to be 5 fps.

does this mean that how much frames the spray has doesn't matter aslong as the gif is under 512kb?

i guess so. But i never tried a vtf with 4x4 but with thousands of frames xD

eventually you'd have to cut down frames though, or else the file will get over 512kb
