Mouse movement feels awkward/way off
After a break, i tried playing again but the mouse movement feels so bad now, as if i don't have raw input on. Obviously it is enabled, and NO mouse acceleration on.

Still it feels very very awkward, so something is wrong. I don't have this issue in any other games like cs..

what happend?

L4D2 has a lot of mouse input lag to it compared to other mainstream FPS titles. It's perfectly normal. Best you can do is disable v-sync ingame, make sure your flip queue/max prerendered frames is the lowest it can be in your graphic settings, and have high refresh rate monitors. Also keep in mind that DX9 games seems to struggle on Windows when you have multiple monitors with different refresh rates.

Thx for the tips, but the mouse aim/movement was perfect just a few months ago, now all of sudden it is so ♥♥♥♥. I re-installed game and now its ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I don't get it

In Linux, triple buffering, or any kind of vsync buffering, causes the same issue.
Nice necro. Try with m_yaw 0.022 and see if that works.

That's definitely not true for me, I'm playing on a 144 hertz monitor and have v-sync triple buffering enabled, playing at a stable 144 fps, raw mouse input ON, mouse acceleration OFF, mouse filter OFF ( doesn't even know what it does ), I put the sensitivity just a bit above the line and the aiming feels super precise and reactive.

Never had any issues related to aiming in this game.

Did you change anything mouse-wise OP since last time ? On Windows or whatever, you're playing on the same PC ?

Sure you didn't change the DPI of your mouse without realizing or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that ?
