Lewd4Dead-Elite important note

i'm writing this because its important to know, you might get this server while searching for official games EVEN if you are not joined in the group server so be careful.

as some of you may or may not know , Lewd4Dead AND Lewd4Dead-Elite are two different servers, its a vs type server

the server is good and fun to play but here is a negative side on why you should avoid this server :
admin of lewd4dead-elite is -NO-
apparently this guy just abuses his admin powers/god powers to rush to saferoom and just stays there for the rest of the game like a statue , just to say "Yay :) , winner :) , gg ez :)" triggering people by acting like this, and he will ban you if you talk back to him or catch him/kill him when he is rushing.
the classic "i can be an as*hole but others are not allowed to violate rules and be rude"

i know its his own server and he can do whatever he wants, but flexing on people with cheats has no respect. its meant to be played fair.
again, i just made this post to warn people, since some of you still think lewd4dead and lewd4dead-elite are the same servers but the difference is one is fair and safe while the other is not.

i have been playing l4d1 and 2 for years now and never,not even a single time,ended up on third party servers like the ones mentioned here against my will

do other people simply not choose the "official dedicated" option when starting a game ?

i know the claim is that you're sent there even when searching for official servers but,again,it was never the case for me so you really start to wonder

Hmmm dont see appeal to modded servers
I like it vanilla,clean without any big texts over my screen or showing enemy health

Yeah exactly, if they were an entirely different varied gamemode then I'd understand them but they're the exact same thing as vanila with obnoxious amount of cheap particles and forced action garbo

Yeah exactly, if they were an entirely different varied gamemode then I'd understand them but they're the exact same thing as vanila with obnoxious amount of cheap particles and forced action garbo

imo the worst thing is when they out loud read where you come from as you join the match

sure it might say on my profile, but i dont wanna meet players from my own country, i dislike them so when they see we from same place they always wanna chat which is annoying

oh and
some modded servers can change your name like player1,player2,player3,player4
happened few months ago
kinda creepy

The running theory is that they disguise their servers AS official servers so even with the official dedicated option there's a chance you might get connected to their servers instead... but we wouldn't have to deal with them if they straight up just disappeared from the face of the internet like if someone were to DDOS them... hint, hint, if you're going to DDOS the Left 4 Dead 2 servers at least target servers that deserve it.

You should avoid making such sentiments in open spaces you might get banned for that.

setinfo name command still remains unblocked in l4d2 even after the Last Stand update, anyone can change their name to anything in game. the thing you mentioned is just the server that forces the command with the sufficient privilege

I guess. But those servers are weird. Why name change. I understand turning off friendly fire but other stuff not so much such as...shop in a match.
Ps doubt it, i can hate my own country given im from it. I just cant dislike other stuff openly. Plus i didnt said anything offensive so.

Oh as for lewd 4 dead, iirc someone here said few months ago that they can kick you quickly if you toxic or something. So i guess get kicked on purpose so you wont join anymore
I havent seen that server for about 2 years now luckily. Maybe they gone from official or just region based? Who knows

Heed my warning, I got banned twice some time ago for exactly that. Especially the word you just used, "Hate" is now considered as a strong word. "Dislike" they may consider giving you a pass, but you can't really be sure these days.
