Side note: I appreciate your freezer profile pic.
It's one of the few games I know of that can honestly get away with the "no two sessions are the same" tagline just because of the AI director.
I'm going out on a limb by even responding, but it's fun to beat back the zombie apocalypse with like-minded players.
Like, think of a zombie. Their shambling walk, their unaffected expression, their unintelligible speech, their shrieking cries of oblivion, and then think about blowing up their head with a shotgun. If you don't find that rewarding in and of itself, I fear for the world.
I've been playing since it was released. I have over 9K hours. I play to watch people. When you say you beat the game, did you learn how to carry? Or are you one of these "kill the bots and rush" heroes? Tres amusant.
It's simple but unpredictable, action packed and keeps you guessing...
No excess crap cluttering up the screen, great soundtrack, mods, vocalisers, huge amount of custom maps, (some are complete rubbish though) and AI Director is always keeping it fresh.
The game is just so much better and it's a real pleasure to be able to play a map with 3 others with similar level of skill as you. The game just flows.
Without Left4Dead2 we would have to play the garbage that game devs are pumping out now....
