What's do you think of left 4 dead 2 in VR?
Do you think it's silly to play it in VR?

No, as long as it's a "Full-Dive VR" :steamhappy: . Imagine playing L4D2 just like in "Overgeared", "Ranker's Return" manhwa, or SAO. Well, actually I ever experienced this several times though, in my dreams, when I became a custom survivor & shot while running from zombies :steamhappy: . But at the same time I could also imagine that some people might faint or get a heart attack if they were punched by tank out of building & died falling to the bottom, or got instant death when stepping on instant-death traps.

oh, so like a survival game but with zombies in a virtual world? That would be neat. Can you imagine if it were realistic, and you got bitten by a zombie or blown into pieces? You'd play it one time and be traumatized for life

nonono
I mean, I have a VR treadmill. Bring it!
Will be boring also the game need fast reactions especially with melee and dodging
its pretty fun
i think its rather silly due to the fact a lot of the game is about movement and VS especially the hunter could lead to a lot of motion sickness for a fair amount of people

not to mention that you are hinderd trying to move around which may lead to even more frustraiting moments commons stopping you from escaping tanks all the more impossible to deal with how would shoving even function (automatic detection would be bad and if its just bassed on your speed you may just shove inconvinently)

also something like infected grabs would put into thirdperson and while yes im aware theres mods that disable that i dont think going on your back while standing up as you watch the game toss you around as a good idea either

but would it be fun to experience none the less? yes, yes it would just not well balanced (not that this game lacks good balance or anything....)

especially with survival where your objective is to hold out a single position so you arent moving much

but regardless this wouldnt exactly be a good experience unless you are willing to accept the flaws of vr movement in a fast paced game

also wasnt there a mod that already (sort of) achieved this?

i mean would it tho? the entire thing of vr is preforming the actions with your own hands, if this game had some supported vr build of the game you would have to manually change the weapons mag etc which doing this yourself can be tense leading to it being fun

not to mention that the fun of vr fps is just kinda pointing and clicking at them anyways

would it add anything to the game? no but would it be a different fun engaging way to experience the game? yes gonna have to slow the pace down a little tho no bhoping through the maps lol

id imagine youd just go in thirdperson like the game actually does (despite being weird for a vr game) it may also have some supported thing of you being a ghost (similar to infected spawn) and just standing there watching it play out

except the tank punch because that actually doesnt send you into thirdperson (maybe with the ghost idea you could have a similar teleport function to alyxes)

either way i dont see it being firstperson following the animations for vr

Anyone who disses vr are the ones who most likely have never played it or hasnt found a game that clicks. i played vr on this game and its super fun however the loading to areas and such is an eye sore cause thats not implemented well cause its a mod but the combat is ok no manual reload but the most fun id say is the chainsaw cause you can cut a zombie any way you want with the direction of your swing and shoot zombies behind you while looking forward during a hoard event.
