Versus casual is unfair for the infected

The survivors are extremely overpowered by design.
To each their own preferences. I'm more leaning towards adding more difficulty, but I still enjoy playing with vanille config

the whole point of vs is that it is based off of points, the more damage you do as infected have a chance to win, playing survivors is try to get to the end as quick as possible to gain bonus points, also when survivors use defib they still lose points. As for the tank is not there to rush players and punch them he is there to stall progress for the survivors. So yes it is a skill issue to a degree, you could be playing good and have terrible team mates or you are all incompetent of team work.
